The Rundown

Delivering an even more propulsive ride than its predecessor through an energised new foam midsole, the new Carbon X 3 launches off the line with a brand new upper. Reworked with a premium performance knit for improved fit, this endurance racer is engineered with the same responsive, carbon fibre plate and aggressive Meta-Rocker. A formidable competitor, this performance shoe is finished with bold, asymmetrical coloring for a statement-making finish.​

How it’s different: It’s been energised with a new foam midsole and a premium, performance knit upper, and 17g lighter than Carbon X 2.

The Carbon X 2 shoe

CARBON X 2

With the same stack height for comfort, heel-toe drop and PROFLY™ experience, we’ve kept all the elements that runners loved about the Carbon X 2 and made it even better.

Carbon X 3 provides a softer and more responsive running experience through our latest lightweight and responsive foam on the top layer of the midsole, along with a rubberised EVA sole.

Lighter than its predecessor, (17g lighter for men’s and 10g lighter for the women’s version) the mesh upper has been updated to an engineered knit upper with integrated tongue and eyestays, creating a glove like fit. The Zonal knit areas in the upper provides added breathability, foot-lockdown and comfort.

ROCKET X

Both the Carbon X 3 and Rocket X feature a carbon fibre plate in their midsole and are designed to offer maximal efficiency and propulsion through each stride;

The Carbon X 3 features a PROFLY™ midsole, with a softer layer and a firmer layer designed to offer a balance of cushioning and responsive toe-off, while the Rocket X has a single density of softer foam;

The Rocket X is designed to minimize weight at every step, and to be used primarily as a racing shoe, while the Carbon X 3 is designed to be more durable and supportive, and can be used for training as well as racing.
